At New River, we have classes for pre-schoolers during both the Sunday Schools of Ministry hour as well as the Worship hour.    As the pre-schoolers are combined with the nursery during the 9:00 hour, we do ask that you allow us to meet you at the door to pick up your kids.

We believe that this is not just a time for babysitting, but it is a time to teach our precious children about the God who loves them and created each of them for a special, and specific purpose in His kingdom.    It is also a time to pray over our children and to spend time developing in them a heart for worship and praise.

We are just an extension of the teachable moments that come along everyday, and it is our prayer that we all live out  Dueteronomy 6:4-9 daily:

“Listen, O Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord alone.  And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.  And you must commit yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands that I am giving you today.  Repeat them again and again to your children. Talk about them when you are at home and when you are on the road, when you are going to bed and when you are getting up.  Tie them to your hands and wear them on your forehead as reminders.  Write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.
